Intoxicated man damages ancient Vietnamese throne, detained and undergoing psychiatric eval.

A man was detained by Vietnamese police after breaking the armrest of an ancient throne, a national treasure from the Nguyen Dynasty, inside Hue's Thái Hòa Palace. The man, showing signs of intoxication and psychosis, entered a restricted area and damaged the throne. He is now under psychiatric evaluation. Security measures around the monument complex are being tightened to protect other artifacts.
