OnlyFans, a platform known for enabling content creators to charge subscribers for content, including adult content, is reportedly in talks to sell to an investor group led by Forest Road Company for around $8 billion. The company has seen significant growth, generating $6.6 billion in revenue in 2023, up from $375 million in 2020. Talks have been ongoing since March, with no guarantee of a deal. OnlyFans has also considered an initial public offering.
