Four-month-old elephant Tula-Tu named grand marshal of Portland's 2025 Rose Festival Parade.

The Oregon Zoo's four-month-old Asian elephant, Tula-Tu, has been named the grand marshal of the 2025 Rose Festival Grand Floral Parade in Portland. Though Tula-Tu won't walk in the parade, she will be represented on a float designed by Alaska Airlines. The parade, which features decorated floats, marching bands, and equestrian units, symbolizes hope and wildlife conservation and will take place on June 7.
