EU lists Nigeria and eight other countries as having significant intellectual property rights violations.
The EU's Trade and Economic Security Commission has listed Nigeria, along with China, India, Türkiye, Argentina, Brazil, Ecuador, Indonesia, and Thailand, as nations with significant intellectual property rights (IPR) violations.
The commission highlighted issues including piracy, counterfeit goods, and delays in trademark registration processes, posing risks to the EU economy.
