Silcotub Zalau, an industrial pipe maker, reported a 22.9% drop in net profit to RON 398.8 million in 2024, despite a slight revenue decrease. The National Bank of Romania stated the RON (leu) is within a balanced range and raised its inflation forecast due to the planned removal of energy price caps.
