A nine-foot reticulated python named Sir Hiss-a-Lot was found in a Cedar Rapids, Iowa, front yard and taken to Cedar Rapids Animal Care and Control. As owning reticulated pythons is illegal in Iowa, no owner came forward, and the snake was eventually relocated to a legal facility in Illinois. Officials suspect the snake was abandoned due to the difficulty of caring for exotic pets.
