JAMB denies conspiracy claims over UTME technical glitch, plans additional exam to ensure fairness.

The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, denied claims that a technical glitch during the 2025 UTME was a conspiracy against the South-East zone. Oloyede emphasized that all Nigerian candidates have equal opportunities. JAMB plans a mop-up exam for missed candidates and has released results for a rescheduled exam, spending millions to supervise the resit. Lawmakers from the South-East, however, have called for the cancellation of the exam, citing institutional failure.
