An annual cookie sale fundraiser in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, raised over $35,750 for Sault Search and Rescue and an additional amount for Connect the Dots. Proceeds from Smile Cookies sold at around 10 locations benefited both charities equally. Sault Search and Rescue will use the funds for equipment, while Connect the Dots plans to buy a new cargo van to transport food donations.
