Morocco launches $23M program to manage 1.2-1.5M stray dogs via neutering, vaccination.

Morocco has introduced new policies to manage its population of 1.2 to 1.5 million stray dogs through an expanded "Trap, Neuter, Vaccinate and Return" (TNR) program. The government has spent $23 million over five years on animal control and plans to open TVNR centers in at least 14 cities. The program aims to reduce the stray dog population while ensuring animal welfare and public safety.
