Police in Slovenia are investigating the theft of a bronze statue of US First Lady Melania Trump from her hometown of Sevnica. The life-size statue, unveiled in 2020, replaced a wooden one that was set on fire earlier that year. The bronze replica was sawed off at the ankles and removed. Authorities are working to track down those responsible for the theft.
