Pakistan enhances Hajj pilgrimage facilities, facing challenges with late payments from thousands of pilgrims.

Pakistan has introduced new facilities for Haj pilgrims, including air-conditioned tents and family-friendly accommodations, aiming for service excellence. Over 38,000 pilgrims have arrived in Saudi Arabia so far, with ongoing support from 1,200 Pakistan-based staff and 600 Saudi-based personnel. A cost-effective Haj package and a short Haj scheme have been introduced, attracting more pilgrims. However, around 65,000 pilgrims risk missing the Hajj due to late payments, though negotiations are underway to facilitate all eligible pilgrims.
