Intel disputes a €376M EU antitrust fine over payments to exclude rivals.
US chipmaker Intel is challenging a €376 million ($421.4 million) antitrust fine from EU regulators, arguing it is unfair.
The fine, imposed in 2020, stems from a 2009 case where Intel was initially fined €1.06 billion for blocking rival Advanced Micro Devices.
Intel successfully overturned that penalty in 2022, but the EU re-imposed the fine for payments made to HP, Acer, and Lenovo to exclude competitors.
The General Court will decide if the fine will stand.
