Canadian Solar reports Q1 2025 loss of $34M, despite increase in solar module shipments.

Canadian Solar reported a Q1 2025 net loss of $34 million, down from a $12 million profit last year. Despite a 9.4% increase in solar module shipments to 6.9 GW, revenues fell 10% to $1.2 billion due to lower sales of battery systems and modules. The company expects Q2 revenues between $1.9 billion and $2.1 billion. Their e-STORAGE pipeline hit a record 91 GWh, and Recurrent Energy secured a $415 million credit facility for portfolio expansion.
