Bharti Airtel, India's top telecom firm, has launched an AI-based fraud detection service that blocks malicious websites in real-time across all communication platforms, including OTT apps like WhatsApp and Facebook. The service, auto-enabled for all Airtel customers at no extra cost, uses AI to scan and block suspicious sites, redirecting users to an explanatory page. It currently operates in Haryana and plans a nationwide rollout soon.
