Netflix starts $903M production studio in New Jersey, aiming to create thousands of jobs.

Netflix broke ground on a new $903 million production studio on the former Fort Monmouth site in New Jersey, with Governor Phil Murphy in attendance. The 292-acre campus will feature 12 soundstages and is projected to create over 3,500 construction jobs and 1,500 permanent roles. The project, aiming to boost the local economy, includes tax incentives and is set to open in 2028.
