India's CBSE reports Class 12 pass rate at 88.39%, with girls and transgender students excelling.

The CBSE has released Class 12 results, reporting an overall pass rate of 88.39%, up from 87.98% last year. Girls outperformed boys, achieving a 91.64% pass rate compared to boys' 85.70%. Transgender candidates secured a 100% pass rate. Over 16.9 lakh students took the exams, with 14.96 lakh passing. Results can be accessed online via official CBSE websites and DigiLocker. The board has discontinued merit lists to reduce unhealthy competition.
