British Columbia is speeding up the process for U.S. nurses to register and work in the province, aiming to attract more health care workers due to uncertainty in the U.S. The registration time has been cut from months to a few days, and since the new process started in April, 177 U.S. nurses have applied, with 113 receiving their registrations. The province plans to launch a targeted marketing campaign in June in Washington, Oregon, and parts of California.
