Be.EV and Schroders Capital invest £20M in 200 ultra-rapid EV chargers across UK retail sites.

Be.EV and Schroders Capital have partnered on a £20 million project to install over 200 ultra-rapid EV charging bays at 22 UK retail and leisure sites managed by Schroders. The Kempower chargers, capable of adding up to 325 miles of range in 20 minutes, will be leased under a 20-year agreement. This investment aims to enhance retail destinations and support growth in EV usage, potentially boosting business for retailers as EV drivers often shop while charging.
