The sentence of 18-year-old Jovarn Esterine, convicted for his role in the fatal stabbing of 17-year-old Harleigh Hepworth in a Wolverhampton park, has been increased from seven to nine years. The Court of Appeal raised the sentence following an appeal by the Solicitor General, who deemed the violence "brutal." Esterine and a 17-year-old accomplice were involved in the stabbing, which also involved threatening a bystander for their phone passcode.
