Igloo expands recall to 1.2 million coolers due to handles causing fingertip injuries.

Igloo has expanded its recall of coolers in the US, adding 130,000 more units due to tow handles that can cause fingertip amputations and cuts. This brings the total recalled to about 1.2 million. The coolers, sold at various retailers and online, were manufactured before January 2024. Igloo has received 78 injury reports, including 26 fingertip amputations. Customers should stop using the coolers and contact Igloo for a free replacement handle.
