IAG, parent of British Airways, orders 53 new planes from Boeing and Airbus post-US-UK trade deal.
British Airways' parent company, IAG, has ordered 32 new Boeing 787-10 aircraft and 21 Airbus planes, following a US-UK trade deal that reduces or eliminates import taxes on British goods like cars and steel.
The trade agreement also exempts plane engines and aircraft parts from tariffs.
IAG's CEO called the Boeing order a "milestone" that will strengthen the company's markets over the next decade.
