Woman killed by alligator while canoeing on Lake Kissimmee, Florida.

A 61-year-old woman, Cynthia Diekema, was fatally attacked by an alligator while canoeing with her husband on Lake Kissimmee in Florida. The incident occurred when their canoe passed over the alligator, causing it to thrash and tip over, throwing both into the water. Diekema landed on the alligator and was bitten, despite her husband's attempts to save her. Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission captured two large alligators from the area. This marks the second alligator attack in Kissimmee since March.
