The U.S. government has reported the largest fentanyl drug bust in history, arresting 16 people and seizing about 11.5 kilos of fentanyl, 3 million fentanyl pills, and $5 million in cash. The operation targeted the Sinaloa cartel, arresting its leader, Heriberto Salazar Amaya, and others. Authorities also seized firearms and other drugs. Oregon lawmakers are calling for changes to sanctuary state laws to aid in deporting criminals and stopping drug flow.
