Restaurant Brands International reports Q1 revenue up 21.3%, but same-store sales decline at Burger King, Tim Hortons, and Popeyes.
Restaurant Brands International, owner of Burger King, Tim Hortons, and Popeyes, reported a 21.3% year-on-year revenue growth to $2.11 billion for Q1 2025, slightly below analyst expectations.
The company’s net income fell to $159 million, or 49 cents per diluted share, down from $230 million or 72 cents per diluted share last year.
Adjusted EPS was 75 cents, lower than the 78 cents expected but up from 73 cents last year.
Despite overall growth, same-store sales at Tim Hortons and Burger King declined by 0.1% and 1.3%, respectively, while Popeyes saw a 4% drop.
