The Prince of Wales has paid tribute to rangers and their "immense sacrifices" in protecting nature, following the fatal attack on two anti-poaching scouts in Mozambique's Niassa Special Reserve. Scouts Domingos Daude and Fernando Paolo Wirsone were killed, Mario Cristovao was injured, and two more remain unaccounted for. The Prince highlighted the dangers faced by rangers, calling their jobs "one of the most dangerous" in the world, and expressed support for increased efforts to protect nature's guardians.
