Juan Morales convicted of first-degree murder in 2021 killing of Camilo Ramirez.

A Salina County jury convicted 38-year-old Juan Doroteo Morales of first-degree murder, aggravated assault, and illegal firearm possession in the 2021 killing of Camilo Ramirez. Ramirez was lured to a location by Morales and his co-defendants, Jaime Leos, Jacob Leos, and Kiera Stewart, who all pleaded guilty earlier. Morales was found guilty following a trial. The Salina Police Department and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation investigated the case.
