Pakistan's PM approves Karachi-Chaman expressway to cut travel time and boost trade.

Pakistan's Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has approved converting the 790-kilometer Karachi-Chaman National Highway into a high-quality expressway. This project aims to reduce travel time from 18 hours to 6 to 8 hours, boosting trade and socio-economic development in Balochistan. The government will fund the project with savings from reduced petroleum prices, aiming for completion within two years.
