Disney plans its first Middle Eastern theme park in Abu Dhabi, set to open in the early 2030s.

Disney announced plans for a new theme park and resort in Abu Dhabi, marking its first new resort in over a decade and its entry into the Middle East market. Named Disneyland Abu Dhabi, the resort will be the seventh global destination for the company. The project, led by Abu Dhabi's Miral and Disney Imagineers, includes one theme park and an unspecified number of hotels, with a potential opening in the early 2030s. The park will be Disney's most technologically advanced, with a waterfront location on Yas Island.
