Carrie Ovey-Wiggins appointed temporary Special Commonwealth's Attorney for 1st Judicial Circuit after Mike Stacy's death.

Carrie Ovey-Wiggins, currently Commonwealth's Attorney for the 56th Judicial Circuit, has been appointed as the temporary Special Commonwealth's Attorney for the 1st Judicial Circuit following the death of Mike Stacy. This temporary role covers Ballard, Carlisle, Fulton, and Hickman Counties. Ovey-Wiggins will be supported by staff and will serve until a new Commonwealth's Attorney is appointed or elected.
