Eric Church released his eighth album, "Evangeline vs. The Machine," on May 2, blending strings, horns, and choir into each of its eight tracks. In an interview, he highlighted the struggle between artistic freedom and the music industry's mass production. Church's "Free the Machine" tour starts on September 12 in Pittsburgh, with support from Elle King, Marcus King Band, and Charles Wesley Godwin.
