Over 1,000 people walked at Fernleigh Track to advocate for women's safety and better lighting.
Over 1,000 people participated in the "Taking Back Our Paths" walk at Fernleigh Track on May 4 to advocate for women's safety in public spaces.
The event was organized by Tegan Broster and Stacey Wilde in response to recent attacks, including an alleged assault.
They have also launched a petition for funding lights and CCTV cameras, currently with over 3,000 signatures, to improve safety on the track.
