A 22-year-old Stewartville man, David Lloyd Black, has admitted to stealing $11,437.86 from a Rochester credit union by depositing checks from accounts with insufficient funds and withdrawing money before the fraud was discovered. Charged with theft by swindle and issuing a dishonored check, the dishonored check count was dismissed in his plea deal. Black faces a five-year probation sentence and will be sentenced next month.
