India's Air Force tests first-ever day and night landing airstrip on Ganga Expressway in Uttar Pradesh.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) will conduct day and night drills on the under-construction Ganga Expressway in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh, on Friday. This will be the first airstrip in India designed for both day and night landings of fighter jets like the Rafale, Jaguar, and Mirage. The drill aims to assess the expressway's potential as an alternative runway during emergencies and will also serve as a training base. With 250 CCTV cameras for security, this marks a significant step in enhancing India's defense readiness.
