In Jharkhand, India, the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested Amaar Yasar, suspected of links to the banned group Hizb ut-Tahrir and previously associated with Indian Mujahideen.
The ATS also apprehended four other individuals linked to Hizb ut-Tahrir, which aims to establish a global Islamic Caliphate.
Yasar was previously arrested in 2014, granted bail, and later joined Hizb ut-Tahrir.
The group is under investigation for attempting to expand their network in the region.
