The Noida International Airport in Jewar, India, has been declared a "Red Zone" with a ban on flying drones and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to ensure airport security.
The ban, which makes unauthorized drone flights a punishable offense, was put in place by the Gautam Budh Nagar Police with support from the Civil Aviation Ministry and security agencies.
Violators will face legal action under the Airports Authority of India Act, 1934.
