The Supreme Court has granted interim bail to Vikas Yadav, convicted in the 2002 Nitish Katara murder case, until May 8 to visit his ailing mother. The court directed that his mother be examined by AIIMS doctors for two days. As conditions for bail, Yadav must stay in Ghaziabad, provide a bond of Rs 1 lakh, and avoid contact with witnesses or the victim's mother.
