Prime Minister Modi visits Assam for musician's centenary, launching projects worth billions.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam for the 100th birth anniversary of musician Bhupen Hazarika. During the visit, Modi will inaugurate a 49 KTPA bio-ethanol plant and lay the foundation for a Rs 5,700 crore Guwahati Ring Road project. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma also discussed potential investments worth Rs 50,000 crore from the Advantage Assam Summit and plans to establish a new fertilizer company by December 2025.
