iPhone 16 series sales surge, with the affordable iPhone 16e outpacing premium models.

The iPhone 16 series has seen strong sales, particularly the affordable iPhone 16e, which has outsold its predecessor, the 2022 iPhone SE. In the first quarter of 2024, 74% of iPhones sold were from the iPhone 16 series, up from 68% for the iPhone 15 series the previous year. The iPhone 16e accounted for 7% of all iPhone sales. However, sales of the premium iPhone 16 Pro models have dropped from 45% to 38%, suggesting that consumers are increasingly sensitive to higher prices.
