While the Appeals Chamber rejected Israel's request to cancel these warrants, it ruled that the lower court did not properly address Israel’s jurisdictional objections. The warrants remain in effect as the ICC reviews whether it has the legal authority to prosecute crimes committed in Palestinian territories.
