Brad Darling, a former Arctic Cat executive, and an investment group have acquired the snowmobile and ATV maker from Textron. The future of the Thief River Falls plant and recent layoffs in Thief River Falls and St. Cloud remains uncertain, with Darling aiming to invest in the brand and maintain jobs. Arctic Cat, founded in 1967, has been owned by Textron since 2017.
