New Zealand's PSA reaches settlement, saving 200 roles in Health NZ's Data and Digital, Pacific Health teams.

The Public Service Association (PSA) in New Zealand reached a settlement with Health NZ, reversing planned cuts to the Data and Digital and Pacific Health teams. The settlement saved around 200 roles, with 175 added back to the Data and Digital team and the Pacific Health team's reduction cut from 50 to 22 roles. Workers previously facing redundancy will be redeployed within the health system. However, the PSA remains concerned about further cuts and is considering legal action against the government's spending cuts.
