Irish students are finalists in eco-awards for projects on sustainability and climate change.
Students from schools across Ireland, including Dundalk Grammar, have been selected as finalists in the ECO-UNESCO Young Environmentalist Awards for their eco-projects focused on sustainability and climate issues.
The awards, set for May 8th in Dublin, will feature 102 finalists showcasing initiatives like traffic light food labeling and educational board games on climate change.
Meanwhile, Kildare County Council has launched its own Climate Champions Award Programme to encourage local climate action, with applications open until May 22.
