Eli Lilly has filed lawsuits against four telehealth companies for selling alternative versions of its GLP-1 medications, Mounjaro and Trulicity, which brought in over $16.4 billion last year. Eli Lilly claims these unauthorized versions contain additional ingredients. Mochi Health, one of the targeted companies, defends its practice of providing customized compounded medications for medical necessity.
