Latvian tennis star Jelena Ostapenko upset top-seeded Aryna Sabalenka 6-4, 6-1 to win the Stuttgart Open, her first clay-court title since the 2017 French Open. Unseeded and ranked 24th, Ostapenko also defeated world No. 2 Iga Swiatek earlier in the tournament. The victory lifts Ostapenko to ninth career title and moves her up to 18th in the WTA rankings.
