China's new cargo spacecraft, Qingzhou, set to debut at Space Day in Shanghai, is smaller and lighter than its predecessor, Tianzhou, weighing about 5 tonnes and capable of transporting at least 1.8 tonnes of supplies.
Developed by the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Qingzhou aims to reduce costs and provide commercial cargo services, in addition to supplying China's space station.
