Woman sentenced to six years for distributing over 50 grams of methamphetamine in Wisconsin.

A Wisconsin woman, Mercadys Perkins, was sentenced to six years in federal prison for distributing over 50 grams of methamphetamine. She was also serving a two-year state sentence for violating probation on a prior meth possession charge. Authorities found over 300 grams of meth and $2,000 during a raid on her home. Three co-defendants are awaiting sentencing. Separately, a 39-year-old Eau Claire man, Corey Hobbs, received over nine years for trafficking hundreds of grams of meth, with his criminal history factored into his sentence.
