Three tutors from New Zealand's Hato Hone St John traveled to Niue to teach first aid and life-saving skills, marking the first Level 2 first aid course on the island in 12 years.
Over four days, they trained 80 locals in health, emergency services, and government roles.
The initiative, a collaboration between the Government of Niue and Hato Hone St John, included basic life support, general first aid, and advanced resuscitation courses.
The Niue Health Department also purchased four new defibrillators for the island.
