Michigan State Police and DEA host drug take-back day on April 26 to collect unused prescription pills.
Michigan State Police and the DEA are participating in the National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. All 31 MSP posts will accept expired, unused, or unwanted prescription pills.
Pills will be destroyed; however, liquids, inhalers, patches, and syringes are not accepted.
Residents can also drop off pills at MSP posts year-round, except on holidays.
Similar events are happening in Pennsylvania and Minnesota, offering safe disposal options to fight drug misuse.
