BHP reports higher iron ore and copper production, maintaining yearly production targets.

BHP, a major resources firm, reported a slight increase in third-quarter iron ore production to 61.77 million tonnes and a 10% rise in copper production to 513,200 tonnes, driven by higher output from the Escondida mine in Chile. Despite minor decreases in Western Australia Iron Ore production, BHP's production guidance for iron ore and copper remains unchanged for fiscal year 2025. The company also highlighted a record nine-month copper production of 1.5 million tonnes and a focus on reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
