Alberta's United Conservative Party (UCP) expelled MLA Peter Guthrie from the caucus due to his public criticism over the government's handling of corruption allegations within Alberta Health Services (AHS). El Partido Conservador Unido de Alberta (UCP) expulsó al MLA Peter Guthrie del caucus debido a sus críticas públicas sobre el manejo por parte del gobierno de las acusaciones de corrupción dentro de los Servicios de Salud de Alberta (AHS). Guthrie accused the Premier and Health Minister of misleading the cabinet and called for a public inquiry, which the UCP opposed.
